2018 Goals

Here are a few of my goals for 2018. I’m sharing these goals to help keep myself accountable. I will be adding notes to these items as I complete them.


  • Start New Job
  • Reach 3000 items sold(sell 1146+ as of 1.12) in my main Etsy shop
  • Reach 500 items sold(sell 488+ as of 1.12) in my secondary Etsy shop


  • Read 12+ books – at least a book a month

  • Drink 40,150 ounces of water – this averages out to 110 ounces a day which is my daily water intake goal.
  • 1095 sit-ups – starting small – trying to build a habit.
  • 365 push-ups – starting small – trying to build a habit.
  • Meditate 365 timeshere are some of the meditations that I use.
  • Journal 300 times As of 2.4, I have 23 entries.

Side Projects

  • Create a usable style guide for Moss Brook church.
  • Create a document outlining my target audience in detail.
  • Blog 52 times – about something that will possibly benefit someone in my target audience.
  • Open up and sell at least 100 items through my personal online shop.
  • Create a solid plan(pricing, dimensions, materials, etc..) for building our future house.
  • Learn basic electrical wiring systems.

Using SMART criteria for setting my goals:

Specific – target a specific area for improvement.
Measurable – quantify or at least suggest an indicator of progress.
Assignable – specify who will do it.
Realistic – state what results can realistically be achieved, given available resources.
Time-related – specify when the result(s) can be achieved.
